At Acuity Intelligence we’re all about finding creative solutions to complex real-world problems. Sometimes this involves integrating existing software/hardware. Sometimes this means applying scientific research through new software that we develop in house. Either way, we are always looking for enthusiastic, innovative and, above all, intelligent programmers who can help us realise some pretty exciting ideas!

Experience counts, but results count more. If you can demonstrate your abilities through home, school or university projects we’re just as keen to hear from you as from programmers with years of experience and CVs to match. Similarly, if you are looking to develop your software portfolio, supplement your student load or income, or simply make the most of your time over the summer, through stand-alone development projects, sometimes as short as a matter of weeks, we might have just the thing for you.

So what skills DO we require? Well, we’re especially interested in programmers with experience of C++/C#/Python. Experience developing GUIs, XML interfaces and using third party SDKs will really count too. The nature of our work places a strong emphasis on image processing and rendering, visualisations and, of course, usability so we are looking for strengths in any or all of these.

On-top of all the technical stuff, you will need to be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about contributing your best work to any project. We know everyone says that, but we mean it! We are a small start-up company with some pretty big clients and we’re growing fast, so we are looking for people who want to invest in their future by showing-off their abilities to us now!
